January 2014 videos Day 18
Okay, this is the video I REALLY don't expect anyone to watch. It's almost 12 minutes, and half of it is merely Dave Grohl telling stories.

But...that is one of many reasons why I love that man. No wonder a Foo Fighters show is almost 3 hours long. Dave Grohl likes to tell stories. (they also have the catalog of songs that lasts hours and hours, too). But then...it also makes the shows more personal...and no matter if the audience is 100 people or almost 100,000 people, you walk away from a Foo Fighters show like those guys are your new best friends.

This video is of the Reading Festival, and Dave talks about how he also played that festival when he was in Nirvanna. And he gets the crowd to sing happy birthday to his mom. How awesome is that? (there's always a portion of the show where it's just Dave and he performs a few songs acoustically. (then he segways into the rockin' version with Taylor, Pat, Nate and Chris joining in).

God, I love this band....

Anyway...this is "Times Like These" by the Foo Fighters.

I've fast forwarded to the song, and man, it's a good song... :) I really like that one, but I didn't know it :)

It's one of my favorite songs of theirs...
